The Bengtsfors power station, located on Lake Lelång, was built in 1895 and has since then contributed to supplying the community with electricity. Sometimes water is released through the sluice gates as we see in the picture. Impressive in the middle of Bengtsfors. The power station has been owned by Mälarenergi since 2015 and has been modernized in stages to improve efficiency. Soon two new turbines will be built in the building in the background of the picture.
